Position Highlights: Independent practice with strong affiliation with local tertiary care hospital that provides a full range of OB/GYN medicine. Ambulatory Surgery center on campus Supported by an excellent multi-disciplinary team that includes radiology. Robust in-house diagnostic testing facility Full complement of support teams to assist with patient care. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive women's health services to our community through the provision of office services, deliveries, and inpatient/outpatient surgical procedures. Monday-Friday clinic/office schedule with rounding time built into the schedule. Obtains detailed history and develops patient care charts; performs physical examinations and evaluations on assigned patients; assesses and treats medical problems and provides direct patient care to a specified patient population. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in nursing with advanced skills in physical assessment OR possession of a Bachelor's degree, together with a certificate from completing an American Medical Association approved physician assistant program. Current unrestricted license to practice and use the title of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in NYS Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience in an OB/GYN practice preferred. New York Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $114,784 to $160,000 per year.
