As a Settlement Analyst on the Analytics Services team, you will evaluate clean energy contracts for utility-scale projects using meteorological and electricity market data. You will perform detailed settlement and auditing calculations on projects and contracts for asset owners, buyers, and investors.
Key Responsibilities Calculate the project generation and settlement amount for clean energy contractsAudit invoices for accuracy of generation, price, and application of contract settlement clausesDevelop insights into the generation and financial performance of renewable plants and portfoliosAnalyze and understand electricity market, meteorological, and utility-scale wind and solar power plant dataContinue the advancement of REsurety's settlement and project performance assessment capabilitiesExecute quality control checks of data critical to business processesRequired Experience & Qualifications Background in math, finance, accounting, physics, engineering, atmospheric science, data science, or a related fieldTeam-oriented contributor: learns from others and asks productive questions, thrives in a culture of continuous feedbackSelf-motivated and detail-oriented: capable of executing complex tasks with limited oversightProficiency with Excel, R, or SQL (secondary preference for Python)A passion for empowering the clean energy-fueled futurePreferred Qualifications Experience generating settlement and performance reports for power purchase agreementsExperience working in auditing or accounting of financial statementsExperience processing large datasets, including meteorological, finance, or operating wind or solar farm dataExperience with wind & solar resource assessment techniques (incl. working with Windographer, PVsyst, etc.)About REsurety, Inc.
