AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job) Oversee the maintenance and operation of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of facility equipment.
Manage facility-related projects, such as renovations, upgrades, and expansions, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, health, and safety standards.
Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
Monitor energy consumption and implement initiatives to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
Develop and manage facility budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Lead emergency response efforts for facility-related incidents, including coordinating repairs and ensuring business continuity.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility operations, maintenance activities, and compliance audits.
