Job Summary: As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will assist in creating and implementing strategies to build strong connections within the community. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders, promote our initiatives, and ensure their success through engagement, events, and feedback collection.
Key Responsibilities: Program Support: Assist in the development and execution of outreach programs and initiatives. Community Engagement: Engage with community members, stakeholders, and partner organizations to foster positive relationships. Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate outreach events, workshops, and activities to encourage community participation. Liaison Role: Serve as the primary connection between the organization and the community, effectively communicating our mission and goals. Feedback Collection: Gather and analyze feedback from community interactions to improve outreach strategies. Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to ensure outreach aligns with organizational objectives. Qualifications: Passion for Community Engagement: A strong desire to make a difference. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written abilities to connect with diverse groups. Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and manage events or activities efficiently. Collaboration: Comfortable working with different stakeholders and building relationships. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or experience in outreach is a plus but not required. Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
