Schwieters Companies is hiring a full-time experienced Hand Sander/Wood Enthusiast in our Prefinish Department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Correctly sand wood materials manually and with an electric sanderInspect all material for qualityStand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shiftHave constant communication with department lead on progress with work ordersWork together with a team throughout the warehouse to achieve maximum efficiency with 100% complete and on-time deliveriesPick material using a stand/sit forklift as neededOther duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Basic finishing knowledge preferredMust follow company quality standards and have great attention to detailComfortable learning to operate a sander and a forkliftCandidate must have a good work historyAble to lift 50+ lbs. comfortablySelf-motivated, self-directed team player and team builderAble to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions, have good communication skills (verbal and written), and be detail orientedCapable of standing for extended periods of timeFlexible in working overtime when necessary BENEFITS Medical/Dental - Monthly premiums are paid for by the companyVacation payHoliday pay401(k) with a 3% company matchPaid weeklyEarly access to earned wages through payroll programShort Term Disability, Life, Accident, and Vision WORK SCHEDULE Monday thru Friday, 6am-2:30pm, overtime as needed PAY $20+/hr.
