Temp Drafter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Drafter with extensive experience in SolidWorks to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting, 3D modeling, and technical drawings. You will collaborate with engineers and designers to create accurate and detailed designs for manufacturing and production purposes. This is a 3-6 month contract. Responsibilities: Create detailed 2D and 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks software. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to develop accurate and functional designs. Revise existing drawings and models based on engineering changes or updates to project specifications. Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and other supporting documentation for design projects. Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and client specifications. Perform tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability (DFM) to ensure the quality and feasibility of designs. Maintain organized records of all design files, drawings, and revisions. Assist in creating assembly instructions and process documentation for manufacturing teams. Participate in design reviews and provide input for continuous improvement initiatives.

$25 - $34 an hour
