As a Systems V&V Engineer , you will be responsible for working closely with system and software engineering teams to provide verification testing of Military Radios. You will also thrive on tackling challenges, as the position requires the use of problem-solving skills and an action-oriented mindset to address problems and, contribute to project goals.
This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.
What YOU will do:
Serve as a technology and systems engineering focal point for leadership and the customer for mission equipment packages/solutions. Serve as a lead systems engineer to capture, analyze, decompose, model, translate and create requirements for large complex systems and may lead system integration. Contribute to technical proposal preparation and serve as a subject matter expert in non-advocate, internal and customer reviews Lead system integration and troubleshooting for complex embedded software applications, hardware, LRU’s, and system of systems environments. Mentor team in the development of functional, interface and performance specifications for hardware and software implementation. Ensure the development and management of technical risks and develops and executes mitigation plans Lead and advise engineering managers, program managers, business development managers, product line managers, and component architects Establish trusted and influential relationships with customers and suppliers Monitor cost and schedule and report project status to program management and engineering leadership.What YOU will learn:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experienceQualifications you must have:
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).Skills we value:
Strong understanding of end-to-end systems architecture governance and design principles.
