The fundamentals for the job…
Each internship will have a unique set of project scope and qualifications, which are based on the business initiatives. You will be working on projects in conjunction with Abarca’s Software Engineering teams which will include the design, development, coding, and testing of: Web-based Darwin Platform Modules. Web-based Darwin Portals. SOAP and RESTful Services used by Darwin Platform and Portals as well as other internal services and external clients.What you’re made of
The bold requirements…
Current and active student (Junior or Senior year) and enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field. Computer proficiency: experience in computer programming using at least 2 of the following: .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET, AJAX, VB, C#, Java, JavaScript, Angular, HTML and XML - XSLT. Knowledge of Web and Service Oriented Architecture and Microsoft tools and programming is a plus. Exposure to SQL Server, Database Design, T-SQL and Stored Procedures. Familiar with Object‐Oriented languages and Design Patterns. Knowledge of the Healthcare, Pharmacy, and Pharmacy Benefit Management industries, Medicare Part D, and CMS regulations is a big, fat plus. Analytical and Critical thinking, Accountability, Strategic thinking and planning, Software Development, Debugging, working in teams; Attention to detail, Customer service focused. Excellent communication skills both written and oral English and Spanish.That something extra we´d love to see…
