Job Description

The Case Evaluator plays a crucial role in ensuring the success and well-being of trainees within our organization. This position demands a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to trainee development.

  1. Collaborate with CDSS to maintain a secure and safe environment for all trainees, prioritizing their well-being and professional growth.
  2. Work closely with CTR to ensure timely and appropriate placement of assigned trainees within the designated service period, maximizing their potential for success.
  3. Diligently monitor and maintain the center's UA percentage goal, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the program.
  4. Develop and implement comprehensive Personal Career Development Plans (PCDPs) for trainees, fostering a sense of ownership and commitment to their professional journey.
  5. Conduct thorough PCDP reviews and updates every 60 days, ensuring continuous alignment with trainee progress and industry demands.
  6. Facilitate strategic referrals for all graduates to One-Stops, JTPA, and State Employment agencies, enhancing their post-program employment opportunities.
  7. Identify and establish connections with appropriate CTS providers, making referrals when necessary to support trainee development.
  8. Provide expert personal and career counseling to trainees, offering guidance and support throughout their program journey.
  9. Conduct monthly individual and group orientations, as well as crisis intervention sessions, to address trainee needs and concerns effectively.
  10. Maintain meticulous documentation of all trainee progress in counseling folders, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  11. Regularly update the Case Information System (CIS) with detailed case notes on a monthly basis, facilitating comprehensive trainee tracking.
  12. Implement and oversee the ESP panel for all trainee progress evaluations, ensuring a holistic approach to development assessment.
  13. Conduct rigorous evaluations every 60 days for all trainees, monitoring their progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  14. Perform additional duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university is an absolute requirement. The field of study must be Social Work or a closely related discipline. A minimum of 15 credit hours in Social Services disciplines is non-negotiable and will be strictly verified.
  • Experience: A minimum of one to two years of directly relevant experience and/or specialized training in case evaluation or related fields is imperative. Candidates must provide concrete evidence of a proven track record of success in similar roles.
  • Licensure: Possession and maintenance of a valid State Driver's License, specifically Category 4, is a critical and ongoing requirement throughout the duration of employment.
  • Certifications:
  • Law 300 certification is mandatory
  • Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency is highly advantageous and will be given significant consideration in the selection process.
  • Additional Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, exhibit profound empathy, and possess the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality. A steadfast commitment to continuous professional development and adaptability to evolving social service practices is non-negotiable.
