Provides technical expertise to injection molding operations. Participates in, assist in, and/or is accountable for injection molding –focused process and product development, improvement, and implementation projects.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities

Processing Set up for New Lines Test Method and New Materials Development Experimental Studies for New Technology Raw Materials, Formulations, Lens and packaging solutions enhancements Monomer mixture Process Hydration Processes

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge in automation and controls Digital electronic certificate Excellent interpersonal skills. Highly motivated, self-starter, and responsible person

Experience:

At least 0-2 years of relevant industrial experience preferred Industrial experience focused in multi cavity injection molding operations preferred. Experience in Project Management preferred. Experience in Equipment Automation preferred Experience in Pharmaceutical or medical device industries preferred Experience in R&D, process development, and/or product development preferred Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Education:

Bachelor degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical). MS degree in engineering preferred. Engineering-In-Training (EIT) license preferred
