Kelly® Scientific is seeking a Quality Technician for an 12 month contract position at client on Coamo, Puerto Rico. Salary: $16.00 per/hour
Overview
Support the Molding engineers to implement corrective action plans activities related to tooling improvements.
Schedule:
Tuesday to Saturday
7:00am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Support on Scrap Reduction and process enhancements activities
- Work on all Molding Process Improvements, provide feedback and permanent corrective actions to the responsible areas.
- Work on Kaizen Events and improvements actions
- Provide technical engineering support on a daily basis to all Molding processes.
- Provide support on Manufacturing Instructions, Routings, Set up improvements and Process audits.
- Help on root cause analysis of main detractors issues on the Molding production floor.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor or Associate Degree on Engineering or Science
- 2-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment; molding &/or tooling.
- Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and Problem Solving Techniques.
- Knowledge on how to read part drawings, time study and capacity analysis
- Language: Read, write & Speak English & Spanish
