The Facilities Manager for PR CVI Campus is responsible for the effective maintenance, upkeep, appearance, safety, and continuous operation of our facilities. Ensures all facilities projects are carried out without interrupting on-going operations and delivering all projects within established timeframes. 

Accountable for:

Evaluates, negotiates with, and selects external providers and other campus resources including but not limited to skilled traders, general maintenance employees or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, security providers and equipment. Leads al facility repair and/or renovation projects.  Monitors that contractors and vendors are providing services within established service level agreements.  Ensures facility maintains corporate standards (LEED, Recycling, and that all initiatives are aligned with company sustainability and environmental goals. Establishes priorities performs forecasting and allocates the resources needed to complete all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. Advises businesses on measures to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility. Requests, evaluates, and administers maintenance Contract Proposals. Partners with EHS and Physical Security to prevent accidents and security Incidents Investigations.  Continuously verifies that Infrastructure is adequate to support on-going operations. Ensures adequate use, maintenance and care of facilities including but not limited to high voltage systems, utility infrastructures, steam generators, HVAC, and piping systems.  Actively participates in development, execution, and maintenance of business continuity plan. Stays abreast of possible risks that can impact facility safety and pose an interruption to our operations.  Ensures that all facility processes Comply with Laws & Regulations. Generates procedures (SOP) and policies related to facilities physical security and on-going campus services. Generation/ Review and Approval. Executes planning based on the LRSP by forecasting the facility’s upcoming needs and requirements including but not limited to parking, cafeteria, restrooms, nursing rooms among others.

Experience:

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a facilities maintenance field related to medical devices or pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of medical devices regulatory requirements Minimum of ten (10) years on GMP Regulated Industry Experience in supervision of technical personnel.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering
